National Route 25 of the National Cycle Network links with National Route 24 at Longleat stately home to the south of Frome. It runs south through Gillingham and Poole to Bournemouth on the Dorset coast.

Route diversion: Route 24 and Route 25 (Longleat Estate)

Route 24 and Route 25 through the Longleat Estate in Wiltshire will be subject to a temporary diversion on Sunday 25 January between 7am and 2pm due to an event taking place on the estate.

The diversion will apply across the entire estate for the duration of the event. No suitable alternative route is available during this time.

Route users are asked to respect the temporary closure. Access through the Longleat Estate is granted by kind permission of the estate, and temporary closures form a condition of access.

Please plan journeys in advance and follow any signage in place.

The route is open and signed from Longleat to Bournemouth but watch for short incomplete sections around Stourpaine and Blandford Forum, and in Wimbourne Minster. The route includes a traffic-free section of the North Dorset Trailway near Shillingstone, and a long traffic-free section from Wimborne Minster to Poole.
